Stillwater YMCA Swimmers of the Month-June
Congratulations to our following Swimmers of the Month for June:
YMCA Division: Matt McKay
Matt had the highest attendance out of anyone on the swim team for the month of June. His commitment has benefited him by his improvement in his favorite strokes: freestyle and backstroke. Although breaststroke is Matt's least favorite stroke, he has remained focused on bettering himself to become a complete all-round swimmer. Congratulations Matt!
USA Division: Ben Cowles
Ben began the long course season training with the Silver group. However, by June, his work ethic and dedication resulted in his promotion to the Gold group. Ben's hard work was not only noticed by the coaching staff, but two of his teammates suggested that Ben be awarded Swimmer of the Month for June. Congratulations Ben!
